Peel and chop fresh turmeric and fresh ginger root.
Add the peeled turmeric and ginger root to a blender and blend.
Add black pepper. Turmeric isn’t absorbed well without consuming black pepper with it. Black pepper contains piperine, a substance that enhances the absorption of turmeric.
Squeeze the lemon either by hand or using a citrus press. Add the lemon juice into your blender and blend till smooth. If the paste is too thick, add a little more lemon juice or a little water.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl or put the contents in a nut bag and squeeze the juice over a bowl. Discard remaining turmeric and ginger.
Store in a glass container. If you have little glass vials of around 50 ml, one would be your daily dose.
Refrigerate and consume within 7 days. To keep them longer, you can add them to ice cube trays and freeze them.
